OUR REASON FOR BEING

Independence is a right.
Not a privilege.

We’re a non-profit, open-source community with a simple purpose: making everyday life more accessible for blind and visually impaired people.

Human first. Always.

We believe accessibility is a human right. We provide the physical Ageus Q device at minimal cost—and completely free of charge whenever sponsorship funding permits. The core Operating System and all built-in services are entirely free. Basic wireless connectivity and ongoing remote troubleshooting will always be minimal-cost or complimentary. Because we operate as a non-profit community, we ask that devices be returned when they are no longer needed so they can be refurbished and given to another person in need.

Powered by generosity.

Sponsorship makes devices free whenever funding permits. Every contribution helps someone on the waitlist.

A circle of independence.

Return a device when it’s no longer needed. We refurbish it so another person can experience more freedom.

Belonging, built in.

A supportive community and ongoing remote help mean you don’t have to work things out alone.
